shells, and even a stingray was beyond the price of admission. And yes,
Julie did get the stingray jumping out of the water on video! What was
most exciting was watching my children have the time of their lives.
Our 13 year old daughter and 10 year son, never stopped smiling. They
will remember that perfect day for the rest of their lives and so will

"The best part of our
Sanibel Island trip was Captain Mark and First Mate Terresa's chartered
cruise. The first thing we noticed when we got on the boat was that it
was spacious and immaculate.
We saw dolphins and manatees, and my daughter and her girlfriend caught
a glimpse of a loggerhead turtle. The snorkeling, shelling, and lunch
at Grandma Dots were fantastic. Captain Mark and First Mate Teresa will
personalize your tour to fit your needs. It was well worth the money
and the 1/2 hour it took to get from Sanibel to the Fort Myers dock. I
highly recommend Water Experiences."

"Talk about a day in paradise. I have been visiting Sanibel Island for
nearly 30 years with my parents, and now that I have kids, we have
started a tradition of our own. I wanted to cap off our week with
something fun for the kids, I had no idea what was in store for us
aboard your boat.
The kids are still beaming about the playful dolphins, the sting rays,
the shells and the crabs that Jack found along the way while shelling
along Lover's Key. You and Terresa made this such an enjoyable
experience for not only our children, but for Marikay and I as well.
You truly know how to make each trip personal and attentive to the
needs and dreams of your captive audience. The ride back from lunch
atop your "crow's nest" was outstanding, and listening to Jimmy Buffet
made it perfect. The yearly trips to Sanibel will now have a new
addition to the itinerary, a ride aboard the HattyCat and the great
times with you.

"Girl's week at Ft. Myers
Beach, June 2007, was fantastic but the best part was our day on the
water with Captain Mark & First Mate Terresa. They treated us
like it was their mission to show us the best and most exciting
experience ever, even knowing how to attract the dolphins, playing our
favorite music and helping us find the best sea shells! They helped
create "a moment"! Thank you Captain Mark and Terresa!"

"We just wanted to thank you so much for the wonderful day we spent on
your boat. We all enjoyed ourselves so much. From the first moment you
both made us feel so welcome and comfortable on your boat. There were
so many memories made during our day. We cannot thank you enough for
all the time you spent with us that day and all the sights you showed
us. It was definitely the high light of our vacation! We were very
happy that we went on Tuesday and not Wednesday. Our day had perfect
weather.
We love the pictures you put on your site. It was fun showing people
those pictures today when we returned to work.

"I love to be on the water,
so after talking to Capt Mark, I schedule a 'girls' trip with some of
my closest friends. The Hatty Cat took us around the Island to Sanibel
for lunch and back to Fort Myers Beach. It was a lovely day and with
plenty of room on board, six giggling women who needed some R &
R were treated to the peace of boating with our Capt and skipper at the
helm. We toured some canals and had a great lunch at Grandma Dot's. The
local dolphins followed us part of the way, adding to the ambience an
afternoon of leisure. Beverages were provided for our little jaunt by
Capt Mark and Terresa while we enjoyed having a water "chauffeur" so we
could relax."

"We also did an all day private boat charter out to Cayo Costa and
Cabbage Key with Water Experiences at www.sunsetride.com. This was
better than taking a big group charter because we saw so much more and
we were on our own schedule. Capt Mark Hatfield and Theresa were so
friendly and great with the kids! See the group photo with them! This
was the kid's favorite part of the trip and a must do! This would be
great for couples or for a family!"

"Local knowledge is key!
What a great day. My family and I enjoyed a wonderful day on the water
with Captain Mark and his 1st mate Terresa.
We were on the water for not more than 15 minutes, when we spotted
about 5 dolphins (including a baby). The Captain asked us to move to
the stern, where he moved the props and just like he said would happen,
those dolphins played along side of his boat for at least 20 minutes.
Then to top off a beautiful day, a great lunch at one of local
establishments, we were able to view one of the best sunsets we had
ever seen.
Our experience was a direct result of his vast experience and knowledge
of the area.

"To the future charters of Captain Mark Hatfield, you are in for a
wonderful water experience. We have chartered Mark several times and
there is always something new to see, whether it's a dozen dolphins
jumping the boats wake at sunset, a manatee surfacing along the side of
the boat, excellent restaurants for lunch or dinner, even dodging a
perfect storm situation due to his excellent navigational skills. We
always try to hook up with Mark and his first mate Terresa (the hostess
with the mostess) when we are in town!"

"My family and I vacationed on Fort Myers Beach in June of 2006. During
our vacation we decided to take a charter of Fort Myers Beach and the
surrounding Islands. After looking at some brochures, we decided to
call Captain Hatty and set up the cruise. This was by far the best
decision we made during our vacation. Mark and Terresa were two of the
nicest people we had ever met. They went above and beyond our
expectations and made our charter an experience that we will never
forget. The charter was the most relaxing day we had on vacation but
also a very educational experience. They taught us so much about each
and every island we toured as well as the ocean itself. Mark and
Terresa were both very determined to make this charter a day we would
never forget and in turn made our vacation the best ever. We look very
